We Turn Numbers Into Narratives

Since 2018, we've been helping Australian businesses make sense of their finances through clear analysis and honest advice. No jargon, no overpromising—just practical insights that actually matter.

Our Beginning

Started With One Frustrated Client

Back in early 2018, I was working with a mid-sized retailer who couldn't figure out why their margins kept shrinking. They had mountains of data but no real understanding of what it meant. Their accountant gave them tax forms. Their consultant gave them PowerPoints.

What they actually needed was someone to sit down, look at the numbers properly, and explain what was happening in plain language. So that's what we did. We found three operational inefficiencies that were eating into their profits, walked them through each one, and helped them fix it over the next quarter.

That experience shaped everything we do now. People don't need more reports—they need clearer understanding. And that's exactly what we focus on delivering.

What Guides Our Work

These aren't corporate buzzwords we put on the wall. They're the principles that shape how we approach every analysis, every client conversation, every recommendation we make.

C

Clarity First

Financial analysis should never feel like decoding hieroglyphics. We present findings in straightforward language because complexity without clarity is just noise.

H

Honest Assessment

Sometimes the data tells you things you don't want to hear. We deliver those findings anyway—tactfully, but truthfully. Sugarcoating numbers doesn't help anyone.

P

Practical Focus

Academic rigor matters, but only when it leads to actionable insights. We dig deep into your data specifically to find what you can actually use and apply.

How We Actually Work

Our process isn't revolutionary, but it is thorough. We've refined this approach over hundreds of client engagements to focus on what produces genuine understanding rather than impressive-looking deliverables.

Step 01

Discovery Conversation

We start with a proper chat about what you're trying to understand. Not a sales pitch—an actual discussion about your specific situation, what's keeping you up at night, and what decisions you need to make. This shapes everything that comes after.

Step 02

Data Deep Dive

This is where we get technical. We examine your financial data from multiple angles, looking for patterns, anomalies, and relationships that might not be obvious at first glance. It's detail-oriented work, but it's what uncovers the meaningful insights.

Step 03

Translation To Action

We present findings in context—what they mean for your business specifically, not just what the numbers say. You'll get a clear report, but more importantly, you'll get a walkthrough that connects the analysis to your actual decisions and priorities.

Who's Behind The Analysis

We're a small team by design. It keeps things personal and ensures you're working with people who genuinely know your situation rather than getting passed around a department.

Managing Partner

I spent the first decade of my career in corporate finance roles that taught me everything about complex modeling and almost nothing about clear communication. After watching too many brilliant analyses gather dust because nobody understood them, I started zandriovexa with a different approach.

These days, I split my time between direct client work and ensuring our team maintains the standards we've built. I still personally review every major analysis we deliver—not because I don't trust the team, but because quality control matters when businesses make decisions based on our work.

Outside the office, I'm usually cycling around Canberra's lake or attempting to keep my vegetable garden alive with mixed success. Both activities teach patience, which turns out to be surprisingly useful in financial analysis.

"The best analysis isn't the most sophisticated—it's the one that actually gets used. Everything we do starts from that premise."
